Henri Dulm is a French artist.
He has been painting New York’s vertical skyline since his first trip there in 2006.
In his paintings, with imaginary street names, he contrasts the horizontal forces of terrestrial activities with the vertical energies of celestial aspirations
His work has very much evolved over the last ten years; Dulm’s first paintings were realistic and figurative. The most recent are expressed in a more impressionist, sometimes semi-abstract form.
